NextRx is here to make a positive change in the health of our customers and our community. We’ll work with you and your prescriber to provide the most affordable options. Our goal: to ensure that you pay less at NextRx than you would anywhere else — even if you have insurance.
Everyone knows that traditional healthcare is too expensive. Traditional pharmacies rely on costly infrastructure: insurance companies and billing, high-priced brand-name drugs, and a broken system with middlemen everywhere. At NextRx, we’re convinced there’s a better way—one that offers consumers access to the same caliber of prescription medication they’d find anywhere else. We can dramatically reduce your costs while maintaining exceptional quality.
Our customers can place orders for generic prescription medications and many popular supplements from anywhere in these states: AZ, CO, CT, DE, FL, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, ME, MA, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, PA, RI, SC, SD, UT, VT, WI, WY. The experienced pharmacists at NextRx can help you fill your prescriptions while offering up to 80% off of retail prices on high-quality generic medications.
Fortunately, there is no extra cost and no monthly membership required to use NextRx! It’s just like picking up prescriptions from a regular pharmacy — you’ll only be charged for the cost of your prescriptions. We also offer fast and convenient shipping for our prescriptions.
We get our medications from the same suppliers as other pharmacies. The FDA-approved medications we offer are purchased directly from reputable wholesalers, saving our customers up to 80% over traditional, insurance-based pharmacies. We work hard to negotiate the best possible prices and only offer a specific mix of generic medications, which boosts our buying power.
At this time, we ship orders anywhere in:
Though it may seem impossible, it’s true! We’re what’s known in the industry as a “cost plus” pharmacy — this means that our prices are not dictated by insurers or PBMs (Pharmacy Benefits Managers), who get rich by adding in unnecessary mark-ups. This means we can offer most generic medications at a lower cost. We’re a US-based certified pharmacy, and our headquarters are in Columbia, Missouri. We operate just like any other pharmacy in the United States, and we sell the same generic medications as other pharmacies.
A cost-plus pharmacy is unlike a traditional pharmacy, where costs can be inflated by middlemen and insurers. We offer medication at “cost-plus” — our cost for the drug, plus a built-in expense to run our business. We don’t think your prescription drugs should cost “as much as they can get away with” — here, you’ll usually find a much cheaper option, with or without insurance.
In the event that your insurance doesn’t cover the cost of one of your medications, your copayment is very high, or you don’t have insurance at all, you should check different sources to find the best price. While many online pharmacies sell these medications at discounted rates, they may still be using a multi-layer distribution system. This can inject additional cost layers, ultimately creating a higher cost for consumers.
Fortunately for our customers, there is a better alternative. With NextRx’s superior model, costs are significantly lower than you’ll find at many other pharmacies. Our mix of local support from highly-trained pharmacists and online prescription delivery model offers the best of both worlds for our customers.
Yes and no. The first thing to understand is that prescription discount cards do not constitute insurance. Coupon cards from drug manufacturers may interact with drug coverage, but those from independent benefit companies – like GoodRx and similar options – are often used in lieu of insurance.
Prescription drug cards can be used by anyone, but there are some serious limitations in their use. Anyone with or without insurance can qualify to use discount drug cards — but that doesn’t mean they’re the best option for getting cost-effective access to the prescription medications that you use on a regular basis. Additionally, if you have insurance and use a discount card, anything you pay will be out-of-pocket and will not count toward your deductible.
Patients show their pharmacist either a physical or digital card. Instead of using the patient’s insurance information, the pharmacy processes the prescription using information from the discount card. In this scenario, instead of paying their usual copay, the patient pays a reduced cash price. If the cash price is less than the copay of the patient, it might be a good deal. Unfortunately, this is rarely the situation and patients often find that they’re overpaying even with a prescription drug card.
You might pay less with a discount card than you would without one, but you’re still getting a discount off an inflated price. At NextRx, we ensure that our prices are as low as possible from the start, by cutting out the middlemen.
We don’t accept insurance, but you are likely to pay less for your medications if you use our pharmacy. We do not pay fees to middlemen like insurance companies and plan administrators — which means our starting costs are much lower than you’ll find elsewhere.
